I love electronics. I love them so much; I modified my basement into a workshop just so I can build things with electronics. My wife hates it though because she views it as a giant mess of cables, capacitors, computer cables, connectors and other hardware that just lies around.

 

Every month I have the same argument with her about them, but usually I reinforce that it’s a hobby that I love. When I phrase it that way it usually satisfies her. Sometimes though, she’ll bring up the fact that the toilet has been broken for months and I still haven’t fixed it. My reply is that one day I will learn how to build a robot to fix it for me. She just has to be patient enough.
