We did not think it would matter when we ordered the Connectors but we learned quickly that they had to be Connectors-PS2.  When we hooked up the new Connectors on Cables and it still did not work we thought we would need to just replace the Cables.  So we ordered new Cables once they arrived we found with the new Connectors and Cables that it still did not work.  So we contacted the company and ask what else it could be.  That is when we learned we needed special Connectors-PS2 and they explained the difference.  So we ordered the new Connectors-PS2 and returned the other Connectors.  Once the special Connectors-PS2 arrived we hooked them up and it worked.  The kids are thrilled that they have the PS2 back and working.
