How to use the Shopping Cart.
You
can start shopping by clicking a product category on the left, and then
a subcategory on the right. For any product you like, enter the number
you want into the Qty field, and click the "Add To Shopping Cart"
button. You will then see the list of items in your shopping cart. You
can continue shopping by clicking a category name, you can "Remove"
items from the cart, or you can proceed to "Check Out."
After you have entered all the items you desire to your shopping cart, click "Check Out" on the top menu bar and enter shipping and payment information.
If you think you may come back in the future, you can save time by establishing an account that holds your shipping and payment information (except credit card number). Do that by going to "Customer Service" (above) and selecting "New Account." Then you can continue shopping, and checkout will be expedited. Be sure to note your user name and password so that when you return later, you can simply "Log In" to recall your information. "Customer Service" is also the place to modify and update your information, and track your orders.

Once the Check Out page has all the required information, click the "Place Order" button at the bottom. (Note that the Check Out page is a secure form, as indicated at the bottom of your browser screen, either in words, or as a closed padlock.) You will then receive an order confirmation via email - if you entered your email addresss correctly. (If you don't receive this confirmation, just send us a regular email with "please confirm order" in the subject line and your name in the text. That's all we need to correct your address.)
Note: this system does not automatically bill your account. It simply securely transmits the information to us through a secure server.
You may also mail, fax or telephone your order. Simply fill out the order form as described above and print it anytime prior to clicking on the "Place Order" button. You can mail, fax or use the order form as a guide when calling. After printing your order, you can simply move on to other websites, or quit your browser; no orders are actually transmitted until you click the "Place Order" button.
Throughout the process you will have opportunities to view what is in your shopping cart and to delete and change quantities. Your browser's Back button can return you to the last product page you were on.
Special Orders. If you are ordering items not shown on our website along with items that are on the site, put your special order instructions in the Comment box on the Check Out page. If you are only ordering items not in our on-line catalog, we suggest you contact us by phone, fax, or email (see below, or see About Us).
Shopping Cart does not remember your selections?
Like
most catalogs, we use a cookie (a small text file sent to your browser)
to track the items in your shopping cart. To protect your privacy the
type of cookie we use is called a session cookie, an anomymous session
ID which automatically gets erased when you close your browser. If the
shopping cart is giving you a warning about cookies, or not remembering
items that you have added to your cart, you may be blocking cookies in
your browser setting or with 3rd party software. Please enable cookies
for the duration of your shopping. To enable in Microsoft Internet
Explorer: click on [TOOLS] then [Internet Options]. Go to the [Privacy]
tab and lower the slider you find there. Thanks.
Other Order Entry Trouble?
Because of the many different internet browser types, versions, and
settings, web catalogs sometimes behave strangely. Below are some of
the problems we have run across. As always, if you have problems,
please give us a call at 1-888-321-9500. You may also enter any
clarifications, questions, or concerns in the comment box as we will
read that before we process your order.
1) Catalog does not remember item selections? Please see the above
explanation of Cookies. To enable cookies for Internet Explorer; click
on [TOOLS] then [Internet Options]. Go to the [Privacy] tab and lower
the slider you find there.
2) Catalog reloads the order entry page? Please look for Red Text
which indicates which entry had problems. Please double check your
typing to make sure an extra number did not slip in to credit card
numbers, phone numbers, or zip codes. Do not enter any spaces or
dashes. If it's a new card, confirm that you have activated it.
3) Catalog does not recognise your state, province or country? Please enter a dash - to indicate a non-standard or non-applicable choice.
4) Credit Card information not sticking? Please double check the
numbers off your card. Most cards have 16 digit numbers, American
Express usually has 15. The Customer ID number, or CCV number is the
last 3 or 4 numbers on the back of the card by your signature. Please
double check also that you haven't inadvertently entered an expired
card date.
5) Page keeps looping or not updating? This happens when your browser
or ISP is cacheing the pages. Holding down the [shift] key and clicking
on the Refresh or Reload button on your browser will usually fetch a
fresh copy.
6) Entries change after you enter them? Mousewheels will scroll
selections within the last active area. Please be very careful to click
away from any drop down menus before you use the mousewheel to scroll
down the page.
7) If all else fails? While not catalog specific, many problems can be
fixed by making sure you have the latest updates for your operating
system and browser, scanning for virii and spyware, deleting your
temporary internet files, and rebooting the computer.
Log In Explained
You do not
need to create an account to order items from us. Creating and then
logging in to your account here is just a way of saving you time
entering your shipping and billing details. If you would like to have
us remember your information, just create an account which you can log
in to on return visits.
Account creation is easy and takes a few minutes. All information is stored on a secure server and available to you by using the "Log In" button on future visits. Whether you choose to create an account or enter the needed information each time you order is entirely up to you. Whatever you decide, we want your shopping at Debco Electronics to be safe, secure, and satisfying.

Shipping--Items shown are either in stock or on order. As most
merchandise is imported, we cannot always predict accurately when an
out of stock item might be received or for that matter might be
discontinued. We will however, inform you by Email as to the status of
any item which cannot be shipped within 2-3 working days. Upon
receiving your order, we will confirm the status by Email. We do not
bill until the merchandise is prepared for shipping.

Shipping and Returns
All
orders are carefully packed and shipped via insured UPS or USPS
Priority Mail. Please open and inspect all packages when you receive
them. We may be unable to fix problems not discovered in a timely
fashion.
Missing or Wrong Items: Please check your invoice to make sure the item hasn't been backordered, then mail us at deb@debco.com. If you are unsatisfied with an item, please mail us at the same address. No returns are accepted without prior authorization.
Shipping Damage:
If
your package arrives in anything but pristine condition, it is UPS or
USPS damage. We inspect, package and ship with the utmost care, doing
everything in our power to ensure the safety of your purchase in
transit. Unfortunately, due both to the fragile nature of some of these
items and the rigors of current shipping practices, some items do not
arrive unscathed. Even if the box shows no apparent damage, please open
and inspect your purchase immediately up on receiving it. Damage in
transit does not always affect the shipping packaging. Shakes, drops,
and other inept or abusive handling can harm your gift without leaving
visible signs on the outside of the box. Please double check and let us
know if any damage is found and save the shipping box and packaging.
While we would like to handle everything for you, the shippers require
that you the receiver handle any damage reports. If the package shipped
UPS - Please call UPS Customer Service at 1-800-PICK-UPS
(1-800-742-5877) to report any damage to UPS shipments. Then please
call us at (800)423-4499 or mail us at tcase@debco.com.
UPS will normally send someone to inspect the package and we cannot
refund or replace damaged merchandise without this inspection. We
apologise for any inconvenience this may cause, but as UPS self insures
we are required to play by their rules.
Priority Mail - Please call us at (800) 423-4499 or mail us at tcase@debco.com. In both case you may be asked to hold on to the original shipping container as they process the claim.
Mistakes and Typos
While we make every effort to double check for mistakes and
typographical errors, we appreciate you letting us know when you spot
them. Pricing and availability mistakes will be fixed as soon as
possible. If we discover any mistakes concerning your order, we will
confirm with you before shipping or billing.
